<p><span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); background-color: transparent;">I worked on Localization and Mapping as a Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company - Greenfield Labs for their Autonomy Projects. I started as the first algorithms engineer on a new team. My work here comprised of the following:</span></p><ul><li><span style="background-color: transparent;">Developing core algorithms for multi-sensor localization, odometry and map matching</span></li><li><span style="background-color: transparent;">Reading research papers, deriving the math, developing algorithms end to end</span></li><li><span style="background-color: transparent;">Programming in C++, Python, ROS, writing production C++ code for in vehicle algorithms</span></li><li><span style="background-color: transparent;">Developing innovations - 4 patents filed, couple more in the pipeline - led most, 2 mini publications</span></li><li><span style="background-color: transparent;">Developing metrics, requirements for different sensors, maps, location systems and performing</span></li></ul><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">sensor comparisons.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;"> Evaluating supplier, startups' cutting edge sensor , location system technologies </span></p>

<p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">I worked on sensor fusion for position estimation as a full time Research and Development Engineer at SEDEMAC Mechatronics.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">I filtered sensor data, like GNSS, motion etc, calibrated them , collected data simultaneously using C, Python and Matlab. </span></li><li><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">﻿After processing, I wrote a program for algorithms for fusing and estimating the state of the device. </span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">Working on this project was my first foray into position estimation, sensor fusion and its application. I am grateful for this opportunity at SEDEMAC!</span></p>

I love building impactful innovations.&nbsp;Inventions, innovations , engineering and the transformative impact they can bring about fascinate me.&nbsp;</span></h3><h3 class="ql-align-center"><span class="ql-font-monospace" style="font-size: 14px;">My engineering experiences are multi-disciplinary spanning a wide range of projects and a depth in localization, estimation and sensing. My recent experiences are within localization and mapping, location, algorithms, sensor fusion, robotics, sensors and mechatronics. Previously I have worked on control, satellites, wind turbines, electro-mechanical systems, IoT and industrial automation as well. My experience ranges from research , algorithms to software and hardware , all the way from early stage startups to Fortune 100 companies.&nbsp;</span></h3><h3 class="ql-align-center"><span class="ql-font-monospace" style="font-size: 14px;">Recently, I worked as a Research Engineer - Mapping and Localization at Ford Greenfield Labs on their "Autopilot" team. Before that I completed my masters in engineering from UC Berkeley where I learnt things in Estimation, Location Technology, Optimization, Mechatronics and was a recipient of the Eaton Hachigian Fellowship.&nbsp;Prior to this, I worked as an R and D engineer at a growth stage startup - SEDEMAC.
