About Me
Sharnam Here

Hi, Sharnam here. I love building impactful innovations. Inventions, innovations , engineering and the transformative impact they can bring about fascinate me.
My engineering experiences are multi-disciplinary spanning a wide range of projects and a depth in localization, estimation and sensing. My recent experiences are within localization and mapping, location, algorithms, sensor fusion, robotics, sensors and mechatronics. Previously I have worked on control, satellites, wind turbines, electro-mechanical systems, IoT and industrial automation as well. My experience ranges from research , algorithms to software and hardware , all the way from early stage startups to Fortune 100 companies.
Recently, I worked as a Research Engineer - Mapping and Localization at Ford Greenfield Labs on their "Autopilot" team. Before that I completed my masters in engineering from UC Berkeley where I learnt things in Estimation, Location Technology, Optimization, Mechatronics and was a recipient of the Eaton Hachigian Fellowship. Prior to this, I worked as an R and D engineer at a growth stage startup - SEDEMAC. Before that, I completed my Bachelors degree from IIT Bombay where I majored in ME, minored in EE , pursued honors in control and did a bunch of exciting projects.
I aspire to use my knowledge and experiences to innovate and create a positive impact
I also like to spend time learning, reading, exploring places, thinking about innovations, going to coffee shops, playing the drums or attending talks

This is something I strive towards and would love to do
